It has been apparent of a general decline in golf etiquette at Newbattle Golf Club in recent years, the Greens Committee would like to emphasise the following points

  1. Repair a minimum of two pitch marks on every green.
  2. Ensure bunkers are raked after playing from them, if a rake is not available please make best attempt to smooth the sand.
  3. Until further notice play from the fairway is prohibited unless a fairway mat is used, alternatively move to the semi-rough at the side of the fairway and play from there

Any member who fails to comply with the above instructions may face disciplinary action from the club.
